Dev Diary #4
Today I start working on real art for Brewery Boss 2.
So far its' all been placeholder, temp, programmer art. Quick 3 second image files created. Just used to get an idea of what things are in the game, but nothing that would ever actually ship in the final product. These types of files are used at the start of development, because more often then not they get changed rapidly at this stage. And nobody wants to spend the time making it look pretty; only to then redo it.
But things are far enough along now that I cant justify making some real assets for the game.
I explored my art style options for a long while. Probably a couple days. I needed to come up with a plan that I could actually implement (because I am NOT a trained artist), but would also (hopefully) look interesting as well.
I think I have a pretty good plan. Time to find out though
